Rem is a Latin word that means “Purpose”, our desire as a technology and consulting company is to give you the best tools and service coming along side you to help people in vulnerable areas where lots of children and youth don’t have access to good education and health.

We use part of our profit to support the projects we already have in Guatemala.

Our Story

2004 - Present

Our core value “Give without expect anything in return” starts before the birth of Rem Consulting. It has its roots in the story of our company’s founders.

Edgar Ramirez worked for a Multinational firm of Insurance Software Consultants from the years 2006 to 2015, Since 2004 he has being a Software developer and Consultant for different companies internationally and working with nonprofits in Guatemala. Then in 2015, he and his wife, Mendy, decide to help the less fortunate in the educational and health fields with schools and community leaders in vulnerable areas across the country, serving with passion and teaching new opportunities to those in need.

Ramirez Family

Michael Evan is a first generation immigrant who worked two jobs while attending school and raising a family of five children. He graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with a Master's degree in Public Administration. He is fluent in English, Spanish and Arabic. He is very passionate about his work. When he is off, he loves to spend time with his family and likes to go fishing.
